BRIDGE OPERATIONS and ETIQUETTE
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has offered to send a representative to the June 13th General Meeting to review the operation of the Morrissey Ave Bridge. This will include hours of operation, review of telephone numbers and appropriate VHF channels, emergency access and any other questions you may have regarding the operation of the bridge.
Work Parties at the Club Every Weekend in May
Work parties continue every weekend starting at 7 am on Saturdays during May. Work will be done on the clubhouse and the deck surrounding the lockers. If you have any questions contact the House chairman David Greenwood. We want to finish the walkway around the lockers and get new railings up by Memorial Day.
Download this form in order to give the Float Chairmen the info they need. Give the filled-out form, along with a copy of your registration and insurance binder to the Chairmen. Remember, 3-days notice before bringing your boat in.
Get Your Recreational Saltwater Fishing Permit
Cost for the permit is $10.00 (free for those 60 and older). They can be purchased online through the MassFishHunt Licensing System, via telephone (866-703-1925), at any one of the three MarineFisheries branches, or at participating stores and town offices. For more permitting information, including a map of all vendor locations, check out the MarineFisheries website.
Get those 2013 permits early, so you can start fishing as soon as you launch!
